Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets and Glasses. NOTE: This is an accessory tutorial, So we need a mesh in our case. Also! There’s a little surprise at the bottom of this tutorial, more like a treat for converting something awesome! :D Since it’s a pretty long tutorial (100 steps), I decided to put it under a read more. So, now that we are done in Blender, we can close it out and head back to S4S.Hello there beautiful people! I made this tutorial for the lovely anon who requested this tutorial *cough* *cough*

Hit Save once you’re done, rename the file, and that’s it! We now have a converted Blender file we can import into S4S! Select Mesh 0, and go back to scale, and scale the Shadow Mesh down to where it matches the Juice box. Now the only two meshes left should be SM_Juice and Studio Mesh 0. Next, delete Studio Mesh 1 by selecting it, right clicking and hitting Delete. The cut number section will be blank, type the number 1 in there. Go up to SM Juice, select it, and then go down under S4Studio CAS Tools. In this case, since we are converting the box onto Studio Mesh 1, we need to use the Number 1 for our juice box. Now remember when I was telling you to make a note of the Cut Numbers? Again, this is important because we need the correct Cut Number for our juice box or else it will not convert correctly. You can scale it to a size you think a juice object might be in the game. Then go over to the left panel and where it says Scale, scale the model up until it becomes visible. Then go up to where it says SM_Juice and select it. So, select Studio Mesh One and click the eyeball to hide it. Now, you initially won’t see the juice model because it opened up super tiny in Blender. Anyway, for this tute, we’ll use the top one (DAE). But actually, you can import any of the models in this list for conversion, and certain Blender plugins allow you to import other models formats like PSK. Our juice box is a DAE model so that is what we are going to select for this tutorial. Now we are going to Import our Sketchfab model into Blender. This will be important when we replace the base model with our own. If you look to the Right Panel, under S4Studio CAS Tools, you’ll see that the model has a Cut number of 1 and the shadow has a Cut number of 0. There’s our feng model! Some things to note are that the model has two parts, sfstudio_mesh_1, which is the model itself and sfstudio_mesh_0, which is the shadow mesh underneath. Then go up to File and open the JuiceBaseBlend file. Let’s head on over to Blender! In Blender, delete the cube. Save the mesh anywhere you want ( I have a folder called Conversions for all my Conversion projects) and let’s name it JuiceBaseBlend. Go to the Meshes Tab in S4S, and hit Export Mesh (keep the selection as LOD 0). Type feng in the Search bar at the top, select the flower pot and hit Next. We’re going to use the Feng flower pot as our base. Open up The Sims 4 Studio (S4S) and under the Object section, select Create 3D Mesh. So, we need to grab a base model from the game for our conversion. So, before we begin, open up your editing program and convert the texture into PNG format and save it.Ĭonverting means we want to take a model from the game and replace it with our own model. I noticed that the model’s texture is in JPG format which S4S does not recognize.
